Shipping policy
Toytown offers several convenient and reliable delivery options including Trexity (Same Day/Next Day) and Canada Post/UPS/Freightcom Delivery. We are not responsible for any items damaged, stolen, or lost after delivery.
SHIPPING
Pick Up Options:
Orders placed online will be ready for collection within one hour during business hours, or by opening the next business day. There is no need to specify what time you plan on collecting your order, simply arrive within our operating hours of 10am-5pm Monday to Friday, 11am-5pm Saturdays, and 12pm-4pm Sundays. Other people can retrieve orders on someone else's behalf as long as they know the order number and billing name. PLEASE NOTE, WE REQUIRE A PIECE OF PHOTO ID AND THE CREDIT CARD USED FOR THE ONLINE PURCHASE IN ORDER TO COLLECT YOUR ORDER. After selecting pickup and proceeding through checkout, please wait to be notified by email as to when your order is available for pickup at our store located:

Local Courier Delivery Rates:
Local same day/next day delivery is a $10 flat rate charge within a 10km radius of our store. Local delivery within 10km is free with orders over $100.00 before taxes. For addresses up to 20km of our store, the flat rate charge is $15. Orders placed before 11am will be delivered same day by 8pm. Orders placed after 11am will always be delivered next day by 8pm with our local courier, Trexity. Upon placing your order and choosing Trexity for local delivery, you will receive an email or sms with confirmations and tracking information.
Shipping Rates:
Toytown ships within Canada only. Transactions will be processed 24-48 hours of receipt of order. We use UPS, Canada Post and a local delivery service for shipments within Toronto. Please inquire for more information. Shipping rates are a flat rate price based on province (HST will be applied to all shipping charges):
$15 Within 20km of our store $20 Ontario, Free on orders over $125 (DOES NOT APPLY TO OVERSIZED ITEMS)
$22 Quebec
$30 Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, British Columbia
At this time, we do not offer shipping through our website to Nunavut, Yukon or the Northwest Territories. Please contact us directly at 416-783-8073 if you would like something shipped to those areas.
Please note orders cannot be shipped to a Post Office Box.
Cancelled Orders:
Due to recent policy changes of our payment processing platform, any cancelled orders will be subject to a 3% order cancellation fee. This fee covers the payment processing costs when we processed your original order, as this cost will no longer refunded to us.
Orders cannot be canceled once they have shipped.
Lost or Stolen Packages:
Shipping Insurance:
All shipments will be covered for the standard carrier insured amounts, which is generally up to $100. The carrier insurance covers loss or damage during transit and does not cover theft after delivery.
If you would like additional insurance including coverage for porch theft and full coverage for your order, please contact us so that we can let you know what the additional cost will be.
Shipping rates are subject to change at any point, depending on provider fee increases and exchange rate fluctuations.
Incorrect Shipping Information:
If a package is returned to Toytown due to an incorrect shipping address provided by a customer, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost as well as the re-delivery cost. Please be sure to take extra care when filling in your shipping information.
